Problem of Replication between Produstion site and DR Site

We are currently install 2 group of Equallogic which is config at 1 pool on each group between Production site and DR site, which is setup replication between them.

Now we plan to install one more Equallogic pool, that means we have 2 pools on each group, is that possible we can setup seperate replication between the second pool?

Thank you for your help.

P.S. current Firmware is 7.0.9

AsyncReplication = Replication of Volumes between Groups

SyncReplication = Replication of Volumes between Pool within the same Group

But your questions is how to get more control about delegated space and where to store the data of the AsyncRepl. right?  With FW7.x you dont have much controll. Sure you can add more members into a new pool but that doesnt allows you to use this as the space for storing replicated data.

But.... 2 days ago the Michael post that with the current FW8.x that it is now more granular to configure the delegated space. Take a look to en.community.dell.com/.../19648609

Hello,

Even with 7.x firmware, you can do what you are asking.  The Delegated space can be set to, or moved to any available pool (providing there is sufficient space).   So if you want to use the entire 2nd pool for replicated space you can do so.

The difference with 8.0.x firmware is that now you can have multiple delegated spaces in different pools.

You specify where to store delegated space.  In 8.0.x you can do it by partner.
