Reset FluidFS FS7600 to allow discovery on a new PS array
I have a FS7600 that was connected to a SAN called SITE1 & was physically removed without using the group manager to remove the NAS from the group manager. I've since moved the FS7600 to a new SAN called SITE2 & would like to discover the NAS but I'm unable to & I think it's because the NAS wasn't removed from SITE1 using group manager. Is there a way to reset the NAS using CLI or another method?
Thanks!
Eric

Hello Eric,
The PS online help has this information.
http://psonlinehelp.dell.com/en/V8.0/GUID-44A967AA-6421-406F-B781-2066E0643175.html
You can reload the FluidFS OS from an internal USB drive.

Don

Thanks Don,
I didn't see it listed in the hardware manual (110_6178_EN-R1_FS7600_Hardware_Owners_Manual) do you know if the USB drive is part of the HDD interposer assembly?

Also can the ISOs serve as a means of restoring (recovery) as they could in v3.0.920760? If so it might be faster for me to use the latest ISO to save time rather than recovering to an older version & then upgrading later via group manager.
Thanks!

Hello,
re: Upgrade. I do believe so since this is starting with a blank configuration.
