The PS FW Maintenance Web Releases V8.1.12, V9.0.9 and V9.1.3 are now available .

The PS FW Maintenance Web Releases V8.1.12, V9.0.9 and V9.1.3 are now available in the EQL Support Page.

These firmware versions are general releases and these can be downloaded by any customers having access to EQL support page.

Key fixes gone into these are:

• When spare disk drives were idle for a period of time, they went into spindown mode. When some of these drives were activated, they failed because the time-to-ready exceeded the maximum value of 30 seconds. Under very rare circumstances, it was possible for an I/O to complete before it was fully started, resulting in a controller reboot.
• Following a firmware update, the snapshot collection max keep value was not set correctly
• After loading save-config in Group Manager, the CHAP target authentication password copied from the clipboard
• When using the CLI, you can press the tab key to automatically complete a command after entering a unique portion of the command. In this case, the tab feature was not working for chapuser select, chapuser delete, chapuser rename and chapuser show commands.
• The CHAP user password displayed as plain text while performing various tasks using the Group Manager GUI or CLI.
• Operations such as member delete or volume delete failed with the following error: Operation timed out
• The value of maxkeep was incorrectly calculated, causing multiple replicas to be deleted in rapid succession when the replication schedule was run.
• While replicating from a PS Series array to a Storage Center, a PS controller failover occurred.
• User was unable to use the CLI to promote the inbound replicaset for SC to PS replicated volumes.
• While replicating from a Storage Center to Peer Storage array, the replication retention policy was not honored
