Daisy Chaining Two PowerVault MD3200

We originally bought one MD3200 array for our on-prem backup storage and one for our DR site. We recently replaced the MD3200 array on our on-prem site and would like to use the old array to double our storage at our DR site. Can we daisy chain two arrays together? Each controller on each array has 4 in ports and 1 out port as shown below. How would we cable two arrays in addition to the server that the storage is attached to?

Hello stevencurl,

With an MD3200 you need to use a MD1200 or an MD1220 as an expansion enclosure. The reason is that with both MD3200 having raid controllers in them the configuration can’t be passed between them. With an MD1200 or MD1220 they have EMM (Enclosure Management Module) that will allow the configuration from your MD3200 to control the drives.
