FS7600 Replication

I would like to replicate NAS containers from a primary cluster to a disaster recovery cluster (both ends have FS7600 with dual controllers). Volume replication is working between the PS devices. In Group Manager I click NAS > Configure Replication > Replication partner (the DR group) > OK. The message Remote host is not reachable. From a machine on the iSCSI network I can ping the iSCSI IP addresses of the PS devices at both locations and none of the addresses for the FS devices on the other side of the VPN. I am guessing there is a gateway issue and I do not see where the gateway is for the FS (does it pull it from the group config for iSCSI)

The primary site is 192.168.0.0/24 and DR site 192.168.1.0/24 for SAN/iSCSI traffic with the NAS management addresses 192.168.x.10.

I was directed to page seven of Dell EqualLogic NAS Replication Network Setup Guide.

So I needed to do the following:

ssh grpadmin@192.168.0.10

static-routes add 192.168.1.0 192.168.0.1 Management –netmask 255.255.255.0

and

ssh grpadmin@10.1.1.140

static-routes add 192.168.0.0 192.168.1.1 Management –netmask 255.255.255.0

I did not see an option to add the gateway to the NAS's SAN addresses in the Group Admin GUI.

Hello,

You have to set it specifically , if you click on network tab after clicking NAS-cluster. Also make sure

the gateway is pingable from NAS cli
