Add 2nd HDD on Latitude E6410

  Hi Folks,

My laptop is a Latitude E6410, I’ve have TWO OCZ SDD 120GB available in my home. Last year I’ve replaced the oem HDD by one of these SDD, off course the performance is amazing and I never want go back to use rotational HDD. My problem comes with the fact that 120 GB is filling fast, and I can’t afford a bigger SDD. So I have to be creative and find-out a solution that: Keep my Actual SSD 120 GB, keep my optical media, cost less than 150$.

With this in mind, one of the possible solutions I ‘been thinking, (and need your help) consists in adding a ZIF or conventional 1.8”/2.5” HDD to the laptop, something like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/Super-Talent-32GB-1-3-IDE-ZIF-SSD-Acer-Aspire-One-/190403614477?pt=PCC_Drives_Storage_Internal&hash=item2c54f0970d. But since the performance is slow, and the fact that I couldn’t find any technical reference that this laptop support ZIF HDD, this idea is discarded. So my only viable way is add a conventional 1.8” / 2.5” HDD, due to lack of space, I ‘been thinking in replace one of the peripherals that I don't use it (Express Card), and use that bus/port/connector to attach the second Hdd. One possible solution that I’ve found is this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380137578283&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT. But to be honest I don't know much about dell hardware, and my big ? Is to know if this is compatible (will fit) in my chassis. Also, I was thinking in add a sdd to the Latitude-ON port, but again, couldn’t find any technical reference about the port used on the Latitude-ON or the internals ports of the mobo.

So I really need your advice to find-out if this solution is possible. Off course feel free to give any other idea that could help-me to add another hdd.

Thanks so much, have a nice day!
