Battery life....
Newbie here so please bear with me. I just purchased the Inspiron 1520. I've used it a total of about 20 minutes in battery mode...the rest of the time I had it hooked to the ac adapter. The battery is showing less than 65% for such a small amount of use. Am I doing something wrong or is that about right? I'm running XP. Should the battery be losing power when it's the laptop is connected to the adapter.

Thanks for visiting the Dell Community Forums.
As long as the system is functioning properly, you shouldn't be losing battery power when connected with an AC Adapter. During the 20 minutes of use, were you watching a DVD or playing video games? If so, the increased power consumption will have an affect on the battery life.
