DELL XPS M1710 CPU AT 100% ALL THE TIME AND LEFT FAN ON HIGH SPEED !!
HI
MY DELL XPS M1710 CPU RUNNING AT 100% ALL THE TIME AND THE LEFT FAN IS ON HIGH SPEED TOO!!!
I CHANGED THE HDD AND FORMAT EVERYTHING FROM SCRATCH, I INSTALLED XP PRO WITH SP2, AFTER INSALLING EVERYTHING I ALREADY TRIED THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS TO REDUCE CPU PERFORMANCE LOWER THAN 100% ALL THE TIME WITH LITTLE SUCCESS AS MOST OF THE TIME IS ON 100% AND I CANNOT DO ANYTHING WITH IT.

ALSO I CLEANDED UP ANY SPYWARE USING THE FOLLOWING:
- SUPERANTISPYWARE
- MALWAREBYTES ANTI-MALWARE
- HIJACK THIS
- ATFCLEANER
- CCLEANER
ANY HELP WILL BE REALLY APPRECIATED ASAP !!!

Hi
I researched again thru internet and found that Microsoft had a patch for the svhost.exe that seemed to be the problem for CPU running at 100%, so I installed the patch to fix this KB92789.
That can be found at: www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=es&FamilyID=7a81b0cd-a0b9-497e-8a89-404327772e5a
After installing it and rebooting my lap it seems to be working perfectly and that the problem is solved, will continue checking it up and hopefully this was the problem.
