Dell 630m hard drive upgrade

Hey, guys, I want to replace the original hard drive of my 630M, but I'm not sure what kind of hard drive it support, like what interface it support: IDE, UATA, ATA-100, etc..., and what speed it can support: 5400rpm or 7200rpm?  Any idea? Thank you for any information...

It might be too late now, but what interface is the hard drive in it just now?  It'll be mentioned in the specifications - and on your invoice, whether it's IDE (/PATA) or SATA.

It'll accept any speed drive - i.e. 5400rpm or a more expensive 7200rpm.  The important thing is to make sure you buy the right kind.

If it's SATA, you can order a SATA II drive - since SATA II is backwards compatible.
