Dell E-Port II USB ports not working after logging into windows 7 on Latitude E6440

After connecting new lap top to new dock, USB port function on dock no longer works. Please can anyone provide an easy settings fix or answer for this problem to a non IT savvy user. This happens when connecting this laptop with other docks in our company.
