Dell Inspiron 1545 Built in webcam problems. Please help!

Sorry if this is in the wrong area or whatever. I apologise.

I need help! My girlfriend's Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop has a built up webcam, Creative Labs 1.3mp I believe.  The problem is, this webcam, gets picked up fine and stuff (that seems to be a common problem but fine here) but when being used on MSN/WLM it quite often goes very, very blurry and knocks off every ten minutes or so. We have tried installing newer software, reinstalling it and stuff, all the common solutions. Nothing is helping.

If anyone has any help, please reply to me as soon as possible.
