Dell Inspiron 5000 not updating graphics drivers
I updated a laptop for our licenced copy of Windows 7 but can't get the intel graphics driver to install. The nividia one won't install because it fails right away installing driver: Intel(R) Display Audio version:
6.16.00.3161.
I have installed all the previous drivers correctly and in the correct order. There are no alternatives!

What is the exact system model? When you try to install the Intel Video drivers - do you get any errors? Could you send us a screenshot of device manager with display adapters expanded?
Guessing the system has Optimus technology. Hence, you would need to install Intel Video drivers first and then only Nvidia drivers.
Download the Intel drivers from - http://intel.ly/1F9PzeM - for your system.
Download the Nvidia drivers from - http://www.geforce.com/ - for your video card model.
Install the Intel drivers first and then restart the system and then install the nvidia drivers.
You could also download both drivers from support site - http://dell.to/1Pwntme - enter the service tag and select drivers and downloads and download the video drivers from Video Category and follow the same procedure as listed above.
