Dell Inspiron 6400 Quad Core Upgrade and Video Card + How to Dismantle the Video Card for Termal Paste Replacement

I have an Inspiron 6400, with T7200 Processor 4GB ram 320GB Hard Drive and an ATI Radeon Mobility x1400.

Can this be upgraded with a quad core? if not witch is the highest core duo processor I can use in it?

Also witch video card is the max in this system? I mean can I upgrade it?

And in theme of video card How I can dismantle the card so I can replace the termal paste as is cooked.

I already replace the Processor and North Bridge termal paste as well they was cooked and the laptop was overheating so much that it burned 2 DVD RW drives.

Thank you in advace for any help.

Quad core,no.

T7400 2.16,or T7600 2.33 CPU's are the best CPU's for your system.

Nvidia 7300 256mb Hypermemory,or ATI X1400(the nvidia would be a step down),so the ATI you have now is it.

The video card has its own socket once you get the laptop apart down to the MOBO undo the screws holding the card in place.
