Dell Inspiron1501 dead?
I don't know if this is the right area. Sorry if it isn't. But i was wondering what happened to my laptop. I was about to plug in my ipod cable into the usb port and right when i almost connected it turned off and now it doesnt even turn on anymore. Reasons?

Coincidence? Will it power on without the battery and just AC?
Also, are there any lights on the adapter or system when you attempt running on AC?

Has this problem every been solved? I have a 1501 which will not start. Adaptor and Battery both fine. Is it a problem with the motherboard connection to the adaptor??
