Dell Integrated Webcam and Dell Webcam Central Problem
So when I firt got my Studio XPS 13, and I'd open AIM and start a video chat, the Dell Webcam Central would pop up and allow me to do effects, desktop share, ect. Now...it pops up, but all that it shows is "To use this feature, ensure that the video streaming format is not MJPEG." Now. I've not changed ANYthing, so why is it doing this? Fast Access works, and the cam effects work when its not in IM Mode... so why does it do this when it's in IM mode?

Just change the resolution of the webcam... select 480 X 640 in the dropdown near to the click button of the webcam. This will solve the issue. Rgds

It should tell you that it wont work in H.264 and MJPEG format, so go to Capture mode, change the quality there to 1024x768 or lower and it will work again.

Heyhoo,
Which operating system is on your system?
If Vista try installing Vista codecs and it should work.
If using Windows 7, try installing the Windows 7 codecs.
These items can be Googled. I usually trust downloading the codecs from Filehippo.

Open Dell Webcam Central, look at the bottom right corner.
