Dell Latitude D630 blank screen (backlight shows up)

I have a d630 with windows 7 32bit, 4gb of ram, 

When i power the laptop on it doesnt show anything. When i connect to an external monitor it works but the  display is like a light blue color and has transparent blue lines running vertically down the screen.

i have no idea what to do, please help!
