Dell Windows Microsoft Updates Fail
I have a Dell XPS M1530. I am having problems updating software on my computer. I have been told that i can have my computer restarted to where it was like new but i don't want that because you lose all your files, pictures etc. If anyone else has this problem let me know, so far from my experience its never just one computer that has the problem but all.

It's called system restore through system restoration points. Google that.
Next to that, always have a backup of your stuff - specially when fiddling with your system
