Dell command update and dell online video driver incorrect for latitude E5430

Hello,

I am trying to update all drivers on a Latitude E5430 and the video update always fails using Dell Command update.  I then went onto support.dell.com and entered the service tag for this laptop which is HZDDBW1 and downloaded the only 1 video driver that was available (Intel HD 4000 graphics driver v10.18.10.3993 (A16) November 28, 2014).

The issue is when I go to install it I get an error that the update installer operation is unsuccessful.  The logs indicate GFX HW not found, Didn't find any INF's that match active hardware.

When I go into devmgmt.msc I see that the Display Adapters section reads Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000 Driver date 3/26/2012 Version 8.15.10.2712.  So Dell is providing a driver for an HD Graphics 4000 but this computer has an HD Graphics 3000 built in.  Based on the service tag number why wouldn't Dell offer me the correct driver????

Can we get this escalated and fixed?  Do I have the latest driver?  Windows 7 64-bit claims I do, but 2012 was 3 years ago.  Where is the latest Intel HD 3000 drivers?

erYou could get your laptop video driver from the Intel website: downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx;ProdId=3319

Thank you.  I was able to find the driver on Intel's website and install it.  Oddly Dell hasn't usually done this to me before (putting the wrong and only the wrong driver based on a service tag).  I've seen instances where there are MULTIPLE drivers like Nvidia AND Intel, etc... because they were all options at the time of ordering, but never where the only option available was the wrong option.

You are welcome.

Could be a temporary error.

I reread your first post, you should edit-it and remove the laptop tag.
