Dell laptop making beep sounds at startup

The 8 beep error code indicates a display failure, connect an external monitor and check if the display works?

In addition run the “LCD Test”, follow the steps below.

Switch off the computer > Press and hold down the ‘D’ key on the keyboard and press the Power button > you will see different colors on the LCD screen. in case the issue persists please send me the system service tag or express service code through this private chat, I will see what best can be done.

The beep is heard when i first switch the lap on. Once i switch it on and off nearly 2 times it works fine. I ran the lcd test and  the diagnostic test but it did not display any errors. The colours flashed after the test but i am faced with the same problem yet again.
