Do I need a new screen or video card? Help - Dell Latitude D620

I have a Dell Latitude D620 and lately the screen has been doing weird things. The images will show up pixelated or of a low quality. I plugged my monitor into the VGA port at the back and it shows up fine on my monitor. I just want to know if it's the video card or screen before I buy a new screen.

Any help would be appreciated ASAP, uploaded below are pics of the problem.

Thanks

Hi AB91,

1. Please run LCD BIST test. Turn off computer > Press and hold “D” and turn on the computer. Solid colors will appear on the screen. In case the issue persists follow the next step.
2. Please check the quality of the display with an external monitor.
3. If the video displayed on the external monitor is fine, LCD assembly needs replacement.

Thanks & Regards
