Face Recognition Keeps Studio 1537 From Going to Sleep!

I'm running Vista Premium x64 on Studio 1537. After I installed FastAccess Face Recognition and updating it to the latest version, the laptop doesn't go to sleep mode when I close the lid. Face Recognition works fine. Also I noticed the processor is busy more than before and the fan is on more than before. Appreciate any help.

Glad that FastAccess is working well for you. To the best of my knowledge there is nothing in FastAccess that should change the way that power managment within Vista works - including the sleep setting. As a starting point, make sure whatever power mode that you're in is still set to put the computer to sleep when the lid is closed.

If you've done that already, then be sure that you've rebooted after the FastAccess update (or at least locked and unlocked the desktop to update any changes in settings).

If all of that checks out then let me know and we can take the next steps.
