Fan keeps running, bios update required?

Hey guys.  The fan on my Inspiron 1525 keeps running every 4-5 minutes.  Do I need to update my BIOS so the temperature at which it runs is changed?

Download I8kfangui to both monitor temps and control the fans. The Dell temp profile sometimes isn't the best for whatever reason. Watch the temps and decide whether you might be better off doing your own profile. The program allows a lot of latitude in setting up your own profile.
