First 3 Beeps,Now there is7 Beeps at a time.

     What can I do to fix my Insirion M5010 Computer. it won't start up, gives 7 beeps at a time. I am a disabled person and I have limited funds, I rely on my computer to talk with family in other states. Can I fix this problem myself, purchase what ever I need for it and install them. Please Help!!

We regret the inconvenience caused to you. The 7 beep code indicates that there is a processor/motherboard failure.

The 3 beep code error indicates chipset Error (North and South bridge error, DMA/IMR/Timer error), Time-Of-Day Clock test failure, Gate A20 failure, Super I/O chip failure or Keyboard controller test failure

If its under warranty Dell should fix it.  Otherwise you can try the fix in the video below.

7 beeps means the gpu has become unsolder-ed from the motherboard.
