Flash on the monitor
Hi,
my laptop is a Dell XPS 13.
I noticed that when I plug in a mouse in a usb port while the pc is off an instantaneous light flash takes place on the monitor. Also I noticed that this happens only if the power supply is disconnected.
Is this a normal behaviour? Why?

Thank you for your message.
Does this happen on all USB ports?
Disconnect the power cord & use the power button to shut down the computer & once turned off, connect the USB device & check if this happens.
Does this happen only when the USB mouse is connected, have you tried using other USB devices.

Hi, thank you for your reply.
I noticed that behaviour repeatedly about two moths ago; I tried again as you have suggested but I have not managed to replicate the problem again.
In case it will happen again in the following days, can I point it out in this same conversation?
Anyway, did you ever hear of other users facing a problem like this?
