I need to reset my windows 7 password for an Inspiron
I bought an Inspiron yesterday and mis-keyed the password I wrote down. So this knucklehead can't use his new computer! I received the reinstall disk today and Dell wanted $129 to tell me how to change my password. Any help would be appreciated.

WSMIKE,
Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
You can restart the system and press the F8 key and choose the option that reads "Repair Your Computer"
This will put the system back to factory conditions. The other option is to manually reinstall Windows. Dell can only help you reset a bios password.
