Infected Computer
My computer is telling me it is infected with the Trojan something or other virus. I bought this pc from an individual and do not have the intial disks to re-image the pc. Any advice as to how to get another set of discs so this can be done. Would send me out a set of them for free? Don't know a great deal about this so if question is dumb I apologize. Thanks for any advice.

you can re-install system. OS disc should be easy to get.

Don't you just want to get rid of the virus? You don't have to reformat the whole system to do that. Plenty of free AV and antispyware products listed below. If you need further help post it over on the Virus/Spyware forum.
