Inspiron 15 7357 questions - power led - recovery at startup - etc

Hi,

I don't see a power led anywhere.  How do you know when the unit is powered on?  How do you know when it is sleeping?

How can you get into the recovery software if the OS does not boot?  Is there a function key at bios time?
