Inspiron 1501 No BIOS
i tried to flash my Inspiron 1501's bios today because i never did the recomended update and decided i should. i ran the .exe i got from support.dell.com and it showed a command prompt window. after a while it closed itself, so i restarted my pc. now i see nothing. absolutly nothing. if it helps, my laptop was plugged in, i know that is a suspect when flashing nintendo ds lites.
Also, I run Windows Vista Home Premium.

It sounds as though the BIOS flash failed - if that's the case, you're going to be purchasing a replacement mainboard.
