Inspiron 1521 Turns on for 2-3 seconds and powers off
Laptop was fine and then 2 days ago when trying to start it up it only powers for a couple seconds and shuts off. I removed the battery and tried it as well and had the same issue. It has never had any issues before. I'm thinking system board but any thoughts?

Please refer the service Manual and try reseating Memory, hard drive on your laptop.

I Did everything you instructed. it did not work so I ordered and installed a new motherboard from Dell. After installing the new board, the problem is exactly the same as before the new board. Any other suggestions? I am very qualified to replace the board. A+, network+, MCSE.
