** Is it possible To Upgrade From A T7250 To A T9300 CPU? **
I got a XPS M1530 with a Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T7250 which i would like to the much faster T9300, Just wondering if its possible to buy one and install it myself.
If so is there any info on how to do this etc on the web?
Thanks

It should work fine, but the new CPU will not be covered by the warranty, so be sure you retain the original CPU for the duration of the warranty - were it necessary to return the system for repair or replacement, you could find yourself out the new CPU otherwise.

Dell don't offer CPU's in the XPS M1530 upgrades section, so you're going to have to try and source one from elsewhere.
Just Google 'Intel T9300', and you'll find a couple of UK sites offering them.
They're not cheap mind! You're looking at around £200!!

Where exactly is "locally"? It's UK sources which are needed, remember ;)
And 275.00 what? Unless it's £'s - it's of little consequence?

Locally meaning he got it from a store near where he lives, and its probably $275 US dollars, which is actually cheaper than other places.
