Line on screen.
I have a INSPIRON 9300 Laptop. There is a line in the middle of the screen from top to bottom. Is there a test I can run or a fix for this?

Press F12 when you see the Dell logo at power-on. Select the option to boot diagnostics. Let them run and answer the prompts. When the basic diags have completed you will have an option to test individual devices.
Run all the tests for the screen. And all the tests for the video/GPU. If the screen has no line and passes the tests it will be the GPU.
My guess is that your screen is broken.
