Loud noise when starting Inspiron 1525
When it starts up it sounds like an airplane taking off, then calms down and runs as normal when it reaches the desktop. But then when I run internet explorer the noise starts again and doesn't ever get quiet again and the computer freezes, and I have to manually shut it down. Has anyone else had problems like this? I have no idea what's wrong or how to fix it.

Sounds like a bad fan.

Replacing it though is not a trivial exercise (the fan is under the system board, which must be removed to replace the fan):
