M1210 Firewire issue

When connecting a firewire device, in this case and external hard drive Windows Vista cannot find a driver. Under device manger there is an exclamation under "Other devices" and if you look at the properties of "unknown device" the location is listed as on RICOH OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 host controller

Im unable to locate a driver or solution to clear the error so far.
