My Dell laptop screen turned completely yellow
My dell laptop screen turned completely yellow and it does absolutely nothing. I have no idea what to do to fix it. I am in desperate need of help.

First check: attach an external monitor. IF it shows the same problem, the video chip or card has failed. If it shows a good image, reseat (disconnect and reconnect) both ends of the video cable that runs between the screen and mainboard. Also check the cable for damage.
If you require further assistance, post the model number of the system and the operating system version.
