Problem to Update BIOS A04

Hello,

I've got a problem to update from Version A04 to a higher version (Inspiron 5100).
I tried with the version A23 and A32 both marked, that I don't use the right system (i've got still the phoenix bios).
I can't use a bootable CD because I can't access to BIOS (F2). Even if I remove one RAM-stick, it won't me get access.

Wehre can I get Update to Bios Version A06 in a exe-file or something.

Thanks.

You need to first update to A22 before you can update to any later BIOS.

If you want to have the system boot from the CD drive then you will have to temporarily remove your hard drive.

if you have a password on the board, you are pretty much out of luck as well ... because it must be disabled prior to the flash and you can't enter the bios until after the flash ... classic catch22 really
