Reinstalled Windows XP SP3 on Studio 1555 and Fn Keys Display and Eject not working

Hi - I had to reinstall Windows XP SP3 on my Dell Studio 1555 (purchased new October 2009 from Dell).

Steps taken:

- Installed Windows XP SP3 from original Disc. Formatted Drive during process.

- Installed Drivers from  Drivers and Utilities Disc in proper order (found online from Dell)

- Windows installed all updates.

- Went into BIOS on startup (F2) and tried changing the priority of Fn Keys just to see if anything.....no issue - did not bring about display.

Wireless Internet works fine, all seems OK but am concerned about Function Keys and Eject button.   Will be installing M-Audio Recording Interface and Cubase/Nuendo software plus a ton more and don't want to be surprised after that I can't use function keys.

Thank you for any help/advise.

Hi  Zabrocki,

Welcome to the Community,

Download and install Dell QuickSet Application from this link : www.dell.com/.../DriverFileFormats

After installing reboot the system and confirm if the Function keys and Eject button works.

Thank You
