Restoring Latitude E6500 to Factory Settings

I am trying to restore a Latitude E6500 to it defult factory settings. I have found an attrtcal on the dell support website that says to press ctrl and F11 at the same time durring the computer start-up. I have tried this may time but it does not seem to be working. I also can not run the restore DVD because it is for Vista and the computer is currenly running The owner does not want to use XP so we must find a way to run the restore on the computer. Does any one have any ideas.
