Resume from sleep issue XPS 9550

Hi if laptop puts itself to sleep, upon resuming I get a bluce screen stating that Windows apparently didn't load correctly.  One option is "Restart" which when selected restarts laptop fine.  However a few moments later I will be prompted by Dell Update to install Intel HD Graphics driver.  I have clicked on install, many times, but the problem nnever changes.

Windows 10 Creator update. Latest Intel and Nivida drivers provided by Dell are installed.

TIA

Thank you Sreejith.

Recent software changes? Nothing major except for W10 Creator's update.  there are always updates to Adobe Lightroom, Office 365 etc. I did install some Western digital software relevant to a portable hard drive

I used a new WD 2 TB portable HD recently but is is rarely comnnected.

The blue screen error is "It appears that Windows did not load correctly...."

I will try you suggestions and get back to you.

Thank you for your message.

Has there been any recent software changes made like installing a new software or game?

Do you have any external USB device or dock connected?

What is the blue screen error message you get?

Try to restart the computer in safe mode (http://bit.ly/2miIDuq )& check if the issue persists.

Update the bios by clicking on this link http://dell.to/2uDHoKT update this even if you have the latest version.

Click on the link http://dell.to/2t11dcW to download & save the Intel video driver.

Click on this link http://dell.to/2tCHYZe to download & save the NVidia driver.

Open device manager - expand display adapter- right click on the Intel & NVidia driver & click on uninstall (check the box that says delete driver) do not restart the computer.

Update the chipset driver from this link http://dell.to/2sTbD3b  & then install the Intel driver followed by the NVidia driver saved on your desktop screen & restart the computer.

Click on my Dell username & send a private message with the service tag, registered name & email address.
