SDHC Cards on XPS 15 (L502x)?

I'm just about to buy a new camera and ideally I want to use a SDHC (UHS-1) card with it. I have an external card reader that is compatible but I don't know (without buying one!) whether my XPS 15 (L502x) will be compatible with this type of card.

Does anyone know if my laptop will read this an SDHC (UHS-1) card? Many thanks in advance.

Hi Frattonite,

The XPS 15 system comes with a 9-in-1 media card reader. It allows you to do the following:

  • Easily transfer digital images, music, and video files between a PC and a camera, PDA, etc.
  • Helps save time–no need to connect camera or device
  • Helps save device battery life–reads directly from the media card without connecting a camera, PDA, etc. to the computer

The 9-in-1 Media Card Reader reads the following memory cards:

  • Secure Digital™ (SD)
  • Secure Digital Input Output (SDIO)
  • Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC)
  • Secure Digital eXtended Capacity (SDXC)
  • Memory Stick
  • Memory Stick PRO
  • MSXC Memory Card
  • MultiMedia Card (MMC)
  • xD-Picture Card
This card reader will support the  SDHC (UHS-1) card.
