Skipping cursor

Have VOSTO 3550. About 16 months old. Has developed a problem.

Cursor will disappear into prior written text. May actually leave the message box to some unknown place when on line.

Has been known to activate a highlight on text and immediatly delete the text. Has activated the type over function.

Sometimes letters are omitted from text when typing.

Problem is of increasing frequency. Matters not if in a word processing program or typing on line.

Computer is regularly checked for "bugs" and is free of them per my two anti-bug programs.

Letter omission has been a problem since purchase , just thought it was me. The skipping is w/in

last 6 months.

Appreciate any suggestions.
