Studio 17 (1747) - USB/eSATA combo port
Hi,
I would like to purchase a new desktop hard drive, which requires a powered USB/eSATA combo port.
I know my laptop has a USB/eSATA port, but i do not know if it is powered.
Can anyone please confirm its powered/non-poweredness?

It is not powered. Be sure the drive has an external power supply.
