Studio 1735 Infrared
I was playing round my studio 17 and found out that at the front of the laptop just under where there is the touchpad is something like an Infrared receiver. I have checked on the net and found out that that was it. It is Consumer IR.
Now, can someone please tell me how I can activate it??

Consumer IR means it's a receiver for a remote control - you can activate it in CMOS setup and will need to purchase a compatible remote. This is not an IRDA port - i.e., it's not for establishing a two-way connection to a cell phone, printer, etc.

Ow, thought otherwise. I did know about the Dell Travel Remote, but did not know that that was its receiver.
