System Memory Failure

Increasing numbers of blue screens of death and fatal errors in BIOS have plagued my Inspiron B130.  All error messages share some correlation to decreasing memory.  According to Microsoft's memory test utility, INVC test failed, LRAND failed, WMATS+ failed, WINVC Failed...

I next tried running dells diagnostic utility while in BIOS and found only one problem with "System Memory Data Bus" Error code: 2F00:0B1C

Is this a memory card failure, or does this memory issue pertain to the memory in the motherboard?

Move the memory module to the other socket (or swap if you have two).  If the fault follows the module, replace the module.  If the other module fails in the socket where the first one failed, the mainboard is faulty.

At least it was neither the main board memory nor any of the sockets.  One of the memory sticks was corrupted entirely.
