Trying to reinstall everything on Dell Inspiron 1525... help!!!
I'm trying to reinstall my hardware and I have the "Reinstalling Dell MediaDirect", "Reinstalling Windows Vista", and "Reinstalling Dell Inspiron" but they are not working because I need to partition the harddrive. Am I missing this disk or is it on one of the disks I have? Help!

Hi,
Welcome to the Community. You will need to use the Windows Vista disc, and boot from the CD. Use the below link on how to reinstall windows Vista on your computer.

After installing windows you will need to install the drivers using the Drivers and Utilities disc that you got with the computer. Use the below link on how to install drivers in the correct order.

You can also try restoring your computer back to factory settings which is more easier no need to install drivers. Use the below link for help.
