Video Acceleration-DirectX 9

I bought a new game and when I try to download the game it tells me that the video acceleration has failed. This is a brand new laptop. I look in the help section nd it tells me that I might have to update my drivers. I am not sure on how to do that and where to get the update. I have the DirectX 9 like the game requires. What can I do to fix this. The name is of the game id Desperate Housewives. The bad thing is if I can't do anything about this problem, I will have to keep the game because I opened the package. :smileysad:

Model is normally printed on the notebook itself, if not then go to support.dell.com and select downloads, in the next screen enter the service tag (pasted underneath the notebook along with a barcode), then click go. That will direct you to the download page of the proper model (it will also display the model as a title).

Type dxdiag at the Run dialog and launch DirectX diagnostic tool, go to Display tab and check the VGA adapter type.

Is there anyone who knows how to fix this problem? When I check my DXDIAG, it says AGP texture acceleration is not available.
