Vostro 1500 WebCam not working after Windows 7 upgrade

Hi,

   Running a Vostro 1500, 120 GB HD with 99GBs free, with 3GB of ram. Did a clean install of Windows 7 Pro, after which the integrated web cam will not function.  I ran R155105.exe, the web cam driver for my laptop,  It shows the cam as being installed, Laptop Integrated Webcam, but I can't access it.  Is it me being a dummy or is there something I'm missing?  In XP, there was a camera and scanner application that I could use to access it, but not in 7.  Do I need to install another progarm, such a oovoo to access it?
