XP installation on m1530 but.......?

ok, i succeeded in installing the xp & using vistaboot pro to to do the dual boot. but i stll cant get the sata drivers to work... i've tried the xp sata driver from m1330.. is there something that i'm not doing right.. now each time i wanna log on to xp i have to go to bios and disable the AHCI... so troublesome... pls help... thank you in advance

It is possible not to have to switch the BIOS settings but it is something that has to be done at install time. What needs to be done is the create an XP install CD with the SATA drivers on it. I used nLite to add the drivers and burn a new XP Install CD. --Chris
