XPS12 overheating issues?

Have there been any issues with the XPS12 overheating? I don't use mine for hours on end, but maybe a couple times a week I'll check it and discover that it's hot to the touch and the system is frozen. I have to force a shut down and it usually takes a couple hours or more before it will start up again. And it doesn't start up with one touch of the button. I usually end up pressing the start button dozens of times before it turns on.
