how too change the fan speed on my inspiron 1525
hi i have a inspiron 1525 and cannot figure out how to set a fixed speed on the exaust fan ... i can do it on my desk top through the bios but can find anything on the dell regaurding fan speeds . if some one could help me do this it would be great

It's unusual not to have options in the BIOS regarding fan speeds?
Anyways... I8kfanGUI is the program many Dell laptop owners use.
SpeedFan will also offer you various options.

yea i kno i thought it was weird too buy it gets soo hot that it makes my hands sweat while im using it but its not runing the fan at max theres barly any air coming out the back and when i first turn it on it blows like mad for a second or so and then cycles down
I8KFANGUI is unsuported by ins. 1525 and same with speed fan
