is there a way to bypass using the FN key on a external keyboard?

ok so i have a Dell inspiron 1570...what happened what the keyboard stopped working so were using the a external keyboard but see this is the real problem....the internet is not enabled....and the external keyboard dont have the FN key..becuase i gotta press FN+F2 to enable the internet i dont have alot of money so i cant get the computer fixed....i just wanted to know if the there was a way to go around that "ONE AND ONLY" way i know how to do it.....PLEASE HELP ME i really need to know thanks.

ps. I am using my mothers computer...hense im online and writing for you to see and help :)

You can purchase new keyboards on e-Bay at very low prices.

You will need to search the web for a way to emulate the Fn key. In the old days, there used to be ways to change the key does the Fn. Also older PS2 keyboards could do the job using Scroll Lock, but USB keyboards can not do the emulation. But go and look; you may find something.
